Expansion and renovation of garden centre Villaverde Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny

New retail greenhouses

The expansion includes the construction of three new retail greenhouses with a total surface area of more than 2,000 m². The widespan greenhouses have a span of 19.20 meters, with a ridge height of 7.40 meters and roofing made of 32 mm polycarbonate and sandwich panels. The modern climate control system ensures ideal conditions year-round for customers, staff, and plants.

Renovation of the existing greenhouse

In addition to the new construction, an existing greenhouse is being fully renovated and repurposed as a modern retail space. The renovation works focus on improving insulation, increasing user comfort, and creating a contemporary appearance that matches the renewed look of the garden center.

After renovation, the greenhouse will comply with French regulations for public-access buildings. Special attention is given to fire safety, evacuation routes, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, ventilation, and visitor comfort.

New storage building

The project also includes the construction of a new 358 m² storage building. This functional space strengthens the logistical operations of the garden center and ensures efficient storage of goods and materials. As a result, internal processes are further optimized, and additional flexibility is created for daily operations.

Work carried out during opening hours

A key challenge of this project is carrying out the works while the garden center remains open.

Through careful planning and phased execution, the works can take place without disrupting the daily operations of the site.
