Renovation of the garden center and a new entrance – Bomberna Maldegem

Renewed steel structure

The existing steel canopy structure was carefully dismantled and replaced with a completely new hot-dip galvanized steel structure, finished with a durable black coating. The new trusses and columns were fabricated using identical hollow or I-beam sections, creating a clean, uniform, and architecturally refined appearance.

By intelligently reusing the existing foundations, the new columns could be installed on the remaining anchor points of the original structure. This approach preserved both the existing foundations and paving, resulting in an efficient and sustainable construction process.

HHigh-quality roof finish

The existing roof cladding was replaced with 40 mm insulated sandwich panels featuring a PUR/PIR core. These panels provide excellent thermal performance and are finished in an elegant black coating. Thanks to the use of durable materials and professional installation, the structure is optimally protected against the elements.

Modern front façade

The entire front façade was given a contemporary appearance through the use of high-quality materials.

Large panels of toughened safety glass maximize natural daylight, while the combination of black steel and glass creates a modern, elegant, and welcoming aesthetic.

New entrance

At the center of the building, we constructed a new entrance. A new steel structure was installed with glazed façades and insulated sandwich panels that seamlessly complement the renovated front façade.

The entrance creates an attractive reception area and gives the building a clear, welcoming entrance. To enhance ease of use, it was equipped with new automatic sliding doors, providing comfortable, safe, and convenient access for both visitors and staff.
