New garden centre for Fronda in Barcelona

Technology and experience in harmony 

The project consists of a combination of:

• an inviting entrance area
• a warm sales greenhouse (1,837 m²)
• a dedicated section for pet lovers

Each with its own shape and function, yet perfectly integrated into one whole.

The widespan greenhouse is built from 5 spans, each 9.60 meters wide, with a ridge height of 9 meters. The side walls are insulated with high-quality glazing and sandwich panels, while the roof consists of 32 mm polycarbonate and 120 mm thick sandwich panels. This ensures both optimal insulation and maximum light transmission.

In addition to the sales areas, we are also providing a warehouse and a cold greenhouse, connected via a covered walkway.

Fronda is much more than a store. It is a place where generations learn to connect with nature, where plants, people, and stories grow together. What began fifty years ago as the dream of founder Consuelo Pérez has today grown into a warm, green home for thousands of visitors.
