Description

At Thermoflor, we love building greenhouses that are ecologically responsible and innovative. Our project at Intratuin Maastricht is a great example of this. The new entrance, designed by Breddels Architecten, integrates modern, energy-efficient techniques and is fully focused on an environmentally friendly experience. This entrance building is 75 meters wide, 18 meters deep, and spread over two floors, offering an enhanced shopping experience in a green environment.

  • Environmentally friendly design with natural materials
    The design of the new entrance has been carefully crafted to create a harmonious connection with nature. With extensive use of glass and natural wood elements, the building exudes a sustainable and calming atmosphere. These materials not only provide a beautiful aesthetic but also contribute to a healthy indoor climate for visitors and staff.
  • Advanced Insulation for Energy Savings
    A key part of our approach is the use of high-quality insulation. The roof of the structure is equipped with 142 mm PIR insulation and a 1.5 mm PVC finish. The side walls feature 25 mm insulated glass (Ug 1.10 W/m²K) and 200 mm thick sandwich panels. These insulation techniques help limit heat loss and improve energy efficiency, which contributes to lower energy costs and a smaller ecological footprint.
