Description

Petitti Garden Centers was founded by Angelo Petitti. He emigrated from Italy to Ohio in the early 1960s and started his landscaping business there. This was later followed by nurseries and garden centers. Today, the company has 10 locations and is one of the most modern family-owned businesses in the industry.

Along the busy Interstate 90 in Avon, Ohio, stands his largest garden center, a true eye-catcher in the region. Because of its distinctive shape, it earned the nickname “the Gardenstreet”.

  • The beautiful Main Corridor measures 50 x 400 feet.
  • The other roof spans are 30 feet wide.
  • Total glass surface: 40,000 square feet.

The design was created in collaboration with internationally renowned architect Chris Primett of Malcolm Scott Consultants (UK), working closely with Angelo Petitti himself. His personal choices for natural colors, stone floors and soft lighting create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every visitor.

This project is a fine example of how aesthetics, functionality and experience can be seamlessly combined in an innovative greenhouse structure. A realization we are proud of as builders.
