Description

As a greenhouse construction company with over 90 years of experience, we are managing the renovation of Intratuin Pijnacker. Employing a sustainable approach and a trusted partnership (this is our fifth collaboration in Pijnacker), we are working on a completely new entrance building and revitalizing the façade.

Upon entry, the modern atrium immediately catches the eye with its diffuse light and the organic shapes of the office spaces on the upper floor. The finishing touches, including greenery and wood, beautifully align with the sustainable ambiance of the garden center.

Stephan & Jeroen Droogh commissioned Breddels Architecten for the design and Thermoflor for the greenhouse construction.

Our job 

  • Phase 1: Revitalization of the existing front façades.
  • Phase 2: Construction of a new entrance featuring three spans, giving the garden center a green appearance.

Design

The atrium, with its diffuse lighting and natural materials, creates a modern, sustainable atmosphere while reducing energy consumption. The design, created by Breddels Architecten in collaboration with Stephan and Jeroen Droogh, perfectly aligns with Intratuin’s green vision.
