Breda Botanique - Chassékazerne - botanical glasshouse

The  greenhouse is part of a complete redevelopment of the monumental Chassékazerne with restaurant, hotel and several flats. The 'green' glass botanical greenhouse stands as a hotspot in the heart of the building and connects all the new functions.

The  botanical greenhouse was built in the heart of the national monumental Chassékazerne as a connecting element between the Chassé Park and Breda city centre. The result is beautiful and a great example of biophilic design.  Biophilic design aims to promote physical and mental well-being in public and private spaces.

The greenhouse is a 325 m² wide-span greenhouse, with a gutter height of 6.50 metres.
