Eurofleur Leusden

After the old glasshouses were demolished in September, the building contractor Buwalda laid the mezzanine floor. Thermoflor then started the steel construction in November.
This year the warm and cold house will first be completed, after which the new entrance will follow at the beginning of January 2009.
The total surface area of the new building measures 6.277m².
Exceptional in this project are the large mezzanine floor, the cold house with multiple roof ventilation, the special cladding materials of the outer walls and the new entrance.
As from March 2009 the completely restyled Eurofleur will open its doors.

Ikea Collegno

After many years’ negotiations about a permit, Ikea has been granted permission to build a new establishment near Turin. This furniture department store will have a separate section for the sale of indoor plants and a broad range of home-furnishing products.
Thermoflor has been commissioned to build a greenhouse with an area of 2,000m² adjoining the department store on the first floor above the open multi-storey car park. Such an adjoining greenhouse will be the first of its kind among the Italian Ikea shops. 
 

Greenland Tashir

After the construction of Greenland Tallinnskoe in St. Petersburg Thermoflor has once again received an order for the construction of a new garden centre in Russia.
Following the groundwork and foundation activities which have been executed during the past few months, Thermoflor started up this project at the end of October.
Expectations are that the construction of Greenland Tashir in the north of Moscow will be completed towards the end of 2008.

Plantorama Sonderborg

The expansion of Plantorama continues. Sønderborg, the new 7th project of Plantorama, will be realized in the south of Denmark, at the border with Germany.
On an existing business area, next to a supermarket, Thermoflor will construct the new garden centre with a surface area of 5,400 m².

 

Plantasjen Mo-i-Rana

In the north of Norway Thermoflor is building a new establishment of the Plantasjen chain of garden centres in Mo I Rana. The new building will have a total area of more than 3100m².

Intratuin Rhoon (Netherlands)

This spring we started work on expanding the warm house of the Rhoon Intratuin establishment with an extra 2870 m. Around the time of the construction industry holiday we will start a second building phase, which will comprise the construction of  an entirely new storeroom with an area of almost 2000 m. The storeroom will not be a greenhouse, but a traditional steel structure, to enable us to make optimum use of the available space.
