We are going to reroof the hot greenhouse of the Utrecht branch of the Intratuin chain of garden centres. We started the preparatory work in early May and will begin the actual reroofing at the end of June. We are going to replace the present single glass by plastic roofing material: 32-mm polycarbonate plates with a U value of 1.1. In six weeks’ time we will make the roof, which measures just over 3000 m², up to date once again.

We are in the process of expanding the Svinningen logistic centre. Svinningen is a distribution centre where cut flowers and pot plants are processed and assembled for florists, DIY stores and supermarkets. Part of the building is let, and the lessees are doing so well that they now need more room and extra cold stores.

Garden centre Van den Hurk is going to install new buildings at its existing premises in two phases. Thermoflor has designed a very spacious garden centre within the confines of the maximum ridge height of the zoning plan.
