Modern flagship store for Hageland garden centre in the Norwegian town of Karmoy (NO)
At the end of last November we started work on the complete new build of garden centre Hageland in Karmoy. This new branch with an area of 2800 m2 is the new eye-catcher of the Norwegian Hageland chain of garden centres.
The front wall with its characteristic arched entrance is further enhanced by the Hageland house-style colours. The building has a heated and an unheated greenhouse and an outdoor retail area. Manager Ola Apeland: “An Open Sky roof measuring 500 m2 has been installed above part of our outdoor plant retail area. On sunny days both the roof and the side walls of the outdoor area will be open. They will close automatically on rainy or windy days.“
The Karmoy branch was opened in April 2017.
The official opening of Hageland Karmoy in April attracted a lot of attention. The new Hageland house style, with its new colours, lettering and atmospheric images, has now for the first time been applied indoors, too. The Hageland chain is indisputably taking a major step forwards on the Norwegian market with a more professional presentation of garden-centre products.
