Lightweight and robust at the same time
Thermoflor Daylight Buildings will use aluminium profiles and a steel structure to realise your project. The steel structure will serve as the basis while the aluminium profiles are intended for the installation of the roofing materials.
Aluminium profiles are lightweight, but at the same time very strong. You can rest assured that your glass canopy will be able to withstand even the most extreme weather conditions. As the profiles need not be unnecessarily wide your roof will transmit light unhindered. Aluminium can also be readily recycled, making it sustainable in use.
Thermoflor offers you the following types of products:
| Thermolux Basic | for 4 to 10 mm |
| Thermolux Iso | for insulating panels of up to 32 mm |
| Thermolux Excellent | for building applications with higher demands |
Experienced builders of glass canopies
Thermoflor Daylight Buildings has gained a lot of experience as a builder of modern garden centres both within and outside the Netherlands. Thanks to that broad experience we know precisely what advantages aluminium has to offer. And those advantages are impressive: architects find they have almost limitless possibilities in using aluminium profiles in glass canopies. The slender, elegant profiles give Thermoflor’s daylight buildings a very attractive look.
The standard profiles are uncoated, but the aluminium can also be coated to suit your requirements. The general appearance can be compared with that of a contemporary curtain wall, especially if you opt for the sealing strips from Thermoflor Daylight Buildings’ attractive range.
Tailor-made design based on your requirements and the relevant standards
The high-quality aluminium profiles enable us to meet the most stringent regulations and guidelines. Your daylight building will comply with all the relevant standards. The aluminium profiles can moreover be easily combined with various types of roofing materials: from conventional single glass to modern polycarbonate plates.
We have also developed an ingenious system for discharging condensation water based on our experience gained in building garden centres in wet climates.
